FAQ
Open Call 2025
This page will be updated as we receive questions; we recommend checking back periodically.
Can I participate in the award with multiple projects? It is possible to participate in each category (MAIN, APA, ROMAEUROPA DIGITALIVE) with only one project. However, you can apply to all three categories.
Does the project have to be created using artificial intelligence? No, the project can be conceived using different media, but it must demonstrate a deep understanding of the themes of the call.
Do I need to plan the exhibition setup in advance?
The setup will be designed in collaboration with the organization, but you can get an idea of the spaces on the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere’s website: https://www.pastificiocerere.it/.
Who is on the jury? Each of the three categories has a different selection committee, which will be announced in the coming days.
What happens if I win a prize with a budget lower than the one I requested?
In this case, the organization will first check whether the candidate is open to adjusting the budget. If so, the candidate will be contacted to discuss possible alternative solutions.
Can the winning project be modified afterward?
Projects should adhere as closely as possible to what was stated in the application. Any modifications will be evaluated by the organizing committee and must be well justified. In general, more complete projects will receive a higher feasibility score.
Can a collective apply?
Certainly, it is possible to apply as a group or collective. In the case of winning, the fee remains singular.
When will the Romaeuropa Festival take place? Although the winner of the ROMAEUROPA DIGITALIVE PRIZE will be presented within the Digitalive section, we cannot provide exact dates yet, but it is expected to take place between October and November.
Will the APA prize be visible in the exhibition?
Yes, the winning project of the APA prize will be displayed on the screen within the courtyard of the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere.
